SOLAVA, Piandiscò

Solava is the end product of a long family tradition that has seen, since 1870, five generations follow one another in the management of kilns. Solava assumed its present name in the mid-fifties, but it was not until after 1960 that its processes of manufacturing fell into line with the requirements of a rapidly expanding building industry, with the construction of plant that had a high production capacity but maintained unchanged the traditional care taken over quality. Solava operates a high-tech plant with two lines of production: one for Roman tiles, bent tiles and ceiling tiles and the other for bricks used in the construction of walls and floors and for facings. The high technologies and the quality of the clays guarantee the properties of Solava’s bricks and tiles which make them the preferred choice for builders faithful to the principles of solidity and durability.
