Slitti was established in 1969 as coffee roasting company by Luciano Slitti. Luciano, no longer satisfied with the coffee he was serving to his customers in his café, decided to start roasting his own coffee. His great passion and determination led him to achieve great results, and in the years to supply prestigious cafès thanks to the excellent quality of his coffee. When his sons Andrea and Daniele joined the company, they started immediately to learn the art of blending and roasting coffee. In 1988 Andrea decided to add another colonial product to their range: chocolate. The idea of combining coffee and chocolate came out spontaneously.
Andrea’s interest was mostly concentrated on knowing everything about cocoa, whereas Daniele was unceasingly devoted to the research and development of hard to find coffee varieties.
Slitti’s world awarded chocolate and coffee, chocolate pralines, chocolate truffles, chocolate drageés, chocolate bars, hot chocolate, hot chocolate on a stick, gourmet coffee.
