Pancole is a very young farm which was established in 2009. It is located in the lower part of Valdarno Superiore west side. The surface covered is about 10 hectares divided as follows: 2 of vineyard, 7 of arable ground and one of wood. The ground which is exposed to west/south-west, is mainly composed of clay and sand. The aim of the company is to guarantee the full sustainability of the activity with a minimum impact on the environment. To guarantee an high level of biodiversity is a need which determines the quality of life and the survival of all of us. Traditional methods are used for the wine. The whole productive process is led by the aim of letting nature do its job. The result is a genuine wine, strongly influenced by all the elements which are naturally present in our vineyard.
Since 2010 Pancole has dealt with production and bottling of Chianti DOCG and high quality IGT wines. The main vine is Sangiovese. There are also local vines such as Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Malvasia del Chianti. The philosophy of the company is founded on: low yield per HA, manual harvest, rapid transportation of grape, the selection of the best grapes in the winery and the control of temperature during the fermentation phase.
