MARCO SILVESTRI, Pistoia

As a child he was directed towards the wood carving art by his father, who was a woodcarver. He specialized in every expression of the art language at the art school “P. Petrocchi” in Pistoia. He was Ioro Vivarelli’s, Remo Giordano’s and Umberto Mariotti’s student and with them he found a rich field for his brilliant and lively mind.
Wood and painting find a polished answer in his hands that goes beyond the musicality and the rhythm of the movements. His works are the outcome of his patience, his love for arts, his respect of raw materials and his reliability.
