LA MALIOSA, Manciano

At the beginning of 2005 on the Monte Cavallo hills close to Terme di Saturnia, in a position of breathtaking beauty, Fattoria La Maliosa was born as Antonella Manuli’s idea of natural farming, based on quality rather than quantity. Not a marketing concept or an ecological obsession, but respect of local traditions and environmental biodiversity. The choice of Biodynamic Agriculture was immediate and fundamental to increase biodiversity and the soil’s fertility. The year 2009 was dedicated to the expansion of vineyards and olive groves, and the first production of oil and wine from the old vineyards was obtained: a red and a white “orange” wine, macerated on the skins. In 2010 La Maliosa obtained both the organic and the biodynamic (Demeter) certifications.
