Passion that together with the expert hands of our craftsmen has its origin in a land that inspired the great masters of the Renaissance: Tuscany. In the land where we live and work, in 1887 Countess Gabriella Rasponi Spalletti founded a school for embroidery ”filet” created to give a prospect of emancipation to women and a more prosperous and economic future to families of this area that lived mainly of agriculture. At the beginning the school was composed of 5 women only but after two years they were already 50 and in 1904 they were over 400. This school won awards in several international exhibitions and also my great- grandmother Gioconda was part of it and she handed down us this passion to build objects for the decoration of the house.
It is so that my family has given life to the Parentesi Quadra trademark for almost two decades taking advantage of the handed down passion and of the modern technologies, all that passion in producing objects for the home landscape. The use of many raw materials, combined with research and technology and customized to satisfy even the most careful customers, innovation and design to create always unique items and not serial and disposables products but products destined to increase their value and charm over the time and day after day.
